Toronto
Population: 5.1 million
As an international center of business, finance and arts, Canada's largest city is an urban cultural mosaic. Toronto is one of the world's cleanest, safest and most diverse cities. Friendly faces, welcoming establishments and a LGBT community of almost 350,000 creates an environment other big cities strive to achieve.
Toronto is the creative city on the waterfront, where you'll feel a liberating energy from end to end and can experience a world of arts, culture, nightlife, passion and possibilities. Offering a friendly urban playground that welcomes everyone, a vibrant gay village in the city's core and unlimited options beyond, you will want to soak up as much Toronto's culture as humanly possible. Toronto's arts scene is exploding, with new museums, festivals and architecture adding to an already vibrant cultural community.
Don't miss one of the world's largest Pride festivals offering nine days of queer celebration that turns streets into parades and parking lots into parties. Or get your freak on at Halloweek, seven days of costumed Halloween mayhem in the heart of Church-Wellesley Gay Village. Think costumed revelers dressed to shock, free-flowing cocktails, fashion, entertainment and countless cute trick-or-treaters.
Don't forget, you can also tie the knot in Toronto. Getting married is just one of the fabulous reasons why many same sex couples choose to visit Toronto. For more information visit http://www.seetorontonow.com/Visitor/Gay-Community.aspx

Fort Simpson, the town closest to Nahanni, is itself some 600 kilometres from Yellowknife, the territorial capital. But the reserve is definitely worth a visit. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its stunning beauty thrills the few who make it that far into the northern wilderness....
